If you follow me on Instagram, you probably noticed I went to Venice. In Venice I discovered a face-mask by Lush Cosmetics that fights against acne. I had a lot of acne when I was younger and I wanted to try this one out!

The face mask is cold “Cosmetic Warrior”. It combats spots and soothes troubled skins. The mask is composed of antiseptic fresh garlic, tea tree essential oil, deep cleansing kaolin and antibacterial honey.

I have been trying this for 2 weeks now and I love it! I recommand it to everyone who feels unconfortable in his/her skin.

How To Tone Your Butt Exercises To Pop It Outimages

I don’t know about you, but I dream of that kind of summer body! And I decided to work on it. If you want to do it aswell, here are 7 exercises that might help you to get the body you Always wanted to have!

1. Hip-Lift Progression

This is an awesome way to relieve tension in your lower back and work your butt at the same time. (A cushy mat will keep your tailbone from crying afterward.)

Do it:

 

  • Lie on your back with your arms at your sides with your knees bent and your feet on the floor.
  • Lift your hips toward the ceiling. Hold for 1 count, and then lower back down.
  • Repeat the lifts for 60 seconds, squeezing your glutes and hamstrings at the top of the range of motion. Be careful not to overarch your spine.
  • To make this exercise more difficult, extend one leg at the top of the lift. Keep your thighs parallel and hold the lifted position for about 5 seconds.
  • Keeping your hips up, place your foot back on the floor and then lower your hips.
  • Repeat this exercise for 30 seconds; switch sides and do the move for another 30 seconds on the other leg.

 

2. Toe Taps

The, um, lower, looser part of my butt takes a beating from this move. Thankfully.

Do it:

  • Lie on the floor with your arms on your sides.
  • Lift your feet, bending both knees to 90 degrees so your thighs are perpendicular to the floor.
  • Now slowly and quietly tap your left toes to the floor, then your right.
  • Alternate tapping feet for one minute.
  • If you feel any lower back pain, don’t bring your toes all the way do0wn.

 

 

3. Squat with Kick-Back

You are strong. Your quads and butt are toned (okay, getting there). You will not fall as you attempt this powerhouse move.

Do it:

  • Stand with your legs shoulder-width apart.
  • Sit back to a squat, bringing your fists close to your chin.
  • Then bring your left leg straight behind you while extending your arms forward.
  • Return to the squat position, then repeat on the other side.
  • Continue alternating sides for one minute.
  • As you squat, remember to keep your weight back on your heels.
  • When extending the leg behind you, keep your hips square — don’t twist them toward the side.

 

4. Single-Leg Squat with Towel

This targets that messy undies spillover area between the very back of your bum and the lower part of your hips. You don’t have that? A double scoop for you then, fitness queen.

Do it:

  • Stand with your feet together and place your right foot on top of a folded towel.
  • Shifting your weight to your left leg, slide the towel out slowly to your right.
  • Then slowly return to the start position.
  • Work this side for 30 seconds, keeping your elbows bent and your fists together near your chin.
  • When you squat, your left knee should bend between 45 and 90 degrees.
  • After 30 seconds, switch legs and do the squats and slides for another 30 seconds.

5. Dumbbell Squats

A simple way to kick off even a quickie workout, these squats are powerful little moves. Over time, increase reps and dumbbell weight to amp them up.

Do it:

  • Start with your feet shoulder-width apart and 8- to 10-pound dumbbells by your thighs.
  • Squat down as if you were going to sit in a chair, keeping your weight over your heels.
  • Squeeze your glutes as you return to the start position.
  • Do 15-20 reps.
  • As you continue, keep the weight in your heels, making sure your knees do not pass forward of your toes.
  • For a bigger challenge, try it without the weights, jump explosively, and land in the squat position.

6. Plie

I’m all about no-fuss moves that really work, and the plié falls into that category: It’s as simple to do as it looks, but infinitely more toning than you’d expect. (In fact, it’s one part of the Brazilian Butt Lift workout, below. Get on that.)

Do it:

  • Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and your toes pointing out.
  • Bring your arms out straight in front of you and lower into a squat.
  • Come back up and repeat. Go as low into the squat as you can without letting your knees move past your toes.
  • Be sure to tuck your tailbone under and contract your glutes. Keep your torso tall, and don’t let your knees creep past your toes.
  • Do for 1 minute. (After about 40 seconds, pulse at the bottom of the squat for 20 seconds.)

7. Explosive Lunges

I would typically shy away from anything that referred to my bum and any explosions, but this move gives me an awesome stretch through my glutes while testing my balance and coordination and patience.

Do it:

  • Stand with your feet together and your hands on your hips.
  • Then lunge forward with your right leg.
  • Jump up, switch legs in midair, and land with your left leg in a forward lunge.
  • Continue these explosive lunges, alternating sides, for one minute.
  • Keep your fists up in front of your chin and push off the floor with both feet. Your front knee should be bent 90 degrees and align over your ankle.

 

 

Nyx Cosmetics

This time I wanted to show you my new liquid matte lisptick cream by Nyx Cosmetics. I received this for my birthday and I tested for you. Hete is a quick little review!

These liquid lipstick held its own. I wouldn’t say that he’s long-lasting, but he does take some work to take off. When I was swatching this lipstick, I found that using a makeup wipe didn’t really take it off. As far as how long they last, if I’m not eating anything (which let’s be honest hardly ever happens), it stays on my lips for hours. I find that the liquid lipstick didn’t really transfer too much on the glass when I had a drink, but it definitely faded after I ate or took a bite out of something. They tend to settle on your top lip which I found out the hard way after looking in the mirror during an event and realized that it had looked like I just lined my lips. I like the applicator, it applicates easily on my lips.

Getting the right Vitamins

Today is a little special post because I’m going to talk about Vitamines for a healthy skin! Taking care of your skin should be an essential part of your health regimen. It is, after all, your body’s largest organ.

The first thing most health professionals will tell you to do in order to keep your skin healthy is to limit your exposure to the sun’s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and wear protective sunscreen when you’re exposed to sunlight.

But the sun isn’t all bad. Just 10–15 minutes of daily exposure helps manufacture vitamin D throughout the skin. Vitamin D is one of the best vitamins for your skin, along with vitamins C, E, and K.

Making sure you get enough vitamins can keep your skin looking healthy and youthful. This could translate to a reduction in:

  • dark spots
  • redness
  • wrinkles
  • rough patches
  • excessive dryness

Essential skin vitamins are available in supplemental form, but they are also found in skin care products. Learn more about these four essential vitamins and how they can help you achieve optimum skin healt

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is most often made when sunlight is absorbed by your skin. Cholesterol converts to vitamin D when this happens. Vitamin D is then taken up by your liver and kidneys and transported throughout the body to help create healthy cells. This includes the skin, where vitamin D plays an important role in skin tone. It may even help treat psoriasis.

You can increase your vitamin D intake by:

  • getting 10 minutes of sun exposure a day (check with your doctor first, especially if you have a history of skin cancer)
  • eating fortified foods, such as breakfast cereals, orange juice, and yogurt
  • eating foods that have vitamin D naturally, such as salmon, tuna, and cod

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is found at high levels in the epidermis (outer layer of skin) as well as the dermis (inner layer of skin). Its cancer-fighting (antioxidant) properties, and its role in collagen production help keep your skin healthy. This is why vitamin C is one of the key ingredients found in many antiaging skin care products.

Taking vitamin C orally can enhance the effectiveness of sunscreens applied to your skin for protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. It does this by decreasing cell damage and helping the healing process of bodily wounds. Vitamin C can also help fend off the signs of aging because of its vital role in the body’s natural collagen synthesis. It helps to heal damaged skin and, in some cases, reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Adequate vitamin C intake can also help repair and prevent dry skin.

Due to the prevalence of vitamin C in over-the-counter products, dietary supplements, and foods we eat, deficiency of this nutrient is rare. The recommendation is 1,000 mg per day. If you find that you don’t get enough vitamin C in your diet, you can:

  • eat for more citrus foods, such as oranges
  • eat other plant-based sources of vitamin C, such as strawberries, broccoli, and spinach
  • drink orange juice
  • take supplements, as recommended by a doctor
  • look for antiaging skin treatments with vitamin C for treating dryness, redness, wrinkles, and age spots

Vitamin E

Like vitamin C, vitamin E is an antioxidant. Its main function in skin care is to protect against sun damage. Vitamin E absorbs the harmful UV light from the sun when applied to the skin. Photoprotection refers to the body’s ability to minimize the damage caused by UV rays. This can help prevent dark spots and wrinkles.

Normally, the body produces vitamin E through sebum, an oily substance emitted though the skin’s pores. In the right balance, sebum helps keep the skin conditioned and prevents dryness. If you have particularly dry skin, vitamin E can possibly help counteract a lack of sebum. Vitamin E also helps in the treatment of skin inflammation.

While vitamin E is available in many skin care products, the problem is that any effects could be minimized upon sun exposure. Getting enough vitamin E in your diet is preferable. Most adults need about 15 mg of vitamin E per day. You can increase your intake by:

  • eating more nuts and seeds, such as almonds, hazelnuts, and sunflower seeds
  • taking a multivitamin or separate vitamin E supplement
  • using topical products that contain both vitamin E and vitamin C (this can be more effective in photoprotection than those that contain only one of the two)

Vitamin K

Vitamin K is essential in aiding the body’s process of blood clotting, which helps the body heal wounds, bruises, and areas affected by surgery. The basic functions of vitamin K are also thought to help certain skin conditions, such as:

  1. stretch marks
  2. spider veins
  3. scars
  4. dark spots
  5. stubborn circles under your eyes

Vitamin K can be found in many different topical creams for the skin, and it can help treat a variety of skin conditions. Doctors frequently use creams that contain vitamin K on patients who have just undergone surgery to help reduce swelling and bruising. This may help speed up skin healing. However, research on vitamin K’s effects on the skin is more limited than that for vitamins E and C.

Adults need between 90 and 120 ug per day. You can increase your intake by eating:

  • kale
  • spinach
  • lettuce
  • cabbage
  • green beans

Vitamins are essential for skin health

As vitamins are essential to your health and body functions, vitamin deficiencies can cause adverse effects on the skin. Since vitamins C and E play such important roles in protecting your skin from the sun, deficiencies in either vitamin can increase the risk of skin damage, including skin cancer.

HEMA make-up review

Dear readers,

Today I wanted to do a review about the hema make-up. First of all I wanted to say that the make-up of Hema is produced by Hema. (so it’s 100% hema) I actually had no idea they had such a lot of make-up. I’ve already tested their foundation but I never went further than that. (If you want a foundation review, let me know) Last month I bought a Powder brush, 2 mascaras (1 normal, 1 waterproof) , and 1 bronzer Powder that I actually use as finishing powder.. 👀

The brush 

I have nothing else to say instead of “it’s a brush”. One big positive point is that it doesn’t lose its hair… I don’t know if that’s pretty English!? I’ve already had 2 Yves Rocher brushes and I wasn’t satisfied. But this one is amazing! 

The Powder 

It’s my  first powder ever! I never used powders in my make-uo routines but now , I couldn’t live without. I’m totally in love with this bronzer powder (that I use as a finishing powder to matify so that’s why I took the lightest tinted). I really want to try more of theur powders! 

Normal mascara and waterproof masacar

The first mascara is the Hypnotic Volume. As you know, I’m really in love with the mascaras of Mayebelline. But this mascara isn’t bad at all. It guves you long lashes and keeps your lashes in place all day long. I would defently by it again! 

The second one is the Dramatic lashes builder waterproof. I’ve always wanted to try a waterproof masacar but I never believed in it. I tested this mascara on a snowy day , and it stayed in place. I even cried that day and nothing moved. I was impresse! I’ve never tried it while swimming or taking a shower. Maybe I should so it! 

The price of thise products are not that high. It’s not very expensive compared to Mayebellinne , or L’Oréal Paris. 7.00 € for a mascara of this quality is not expensive!

Today is sunday and that means you have to relax yourself and take care of you and your skin! Today I decided to show you which product I use ,for the moment, to do a Mask on my face. [ As many of you know I have had a lot of acne that I have under control now since a bit less than a year.] 


The face Mask is the most favorite product from this line! It’s made from clay and infused with Salicylic Acid and Organic Aloe Vera. It imparts a cooling sensation upon application, and it yields a tightening effect that helps relax my facial muscles. It does sting upon application but when the mask starts drying up, the stinging sensation goes away. >> I only use the mask twice a week because it may overdry skin. I also like how it leaves my skin fresh and clean.

In this tube it’s a kind of moisturizer to your skin that gives a matt effect for eight hours. This cream fades scars and red spots, refines skin texture and reduces pimples and blackheads. The formula is oil-free and non-comedogenic. I’ve been using the cream for a couple of months and I can only say that I am very happy about this. My skin feels fresh and handles well, and pimples I have hardly seen!

Of course you have more than just these 2 products. You have the cleaning gel, the lotion… You can have them all!

The product of today is (again) a product by Yves Rocher. I really love their skin care products and this little one is a must have. Down below you will read a full review about the Fruity apricot face scrub. 


This product is a soft scrub that deliciously exfoliates the skin. The recipe for deliciously soft skin! This Apricot Fruity Scrub delicately exfoliates the skin thanks to the Apricot Kernel Powder.

  • Result: skin is left soft and supple.

The scrub is easy to use and massage, the kernels are not abrasive and effectively removes dead skin from the face. The scrub does a good job in exfoliation. I really like this face scrub because it makes my skin smooth and clean. I’ve never had any reaction on my skin because of this product!
